This bull is an outstanding herd sire prospect out of our great bull Crown's Classic Shadow. Breeding doesn't get much better than this! D-H Sombra de Nuez (translation: shadow of the walnut) gets his beautiful walnut coloration from his sire, the top-selling bull of the 2003 TLBAA Horn Showcase sale, and the Grand Champion Bull of the Grand National Stock Show in 2002. Sombra de Nuez's dam is a TLBAA Dam of Distinction, who is descended from the 1994 World Grand Champion Longhorn Bull Storm Warning and the 1990 World Reserve Grand Champion Longhorn Bull WR Trails. Sombra de Nuez represents a great combination of the some of the best Texas Longhorn breeding of the WR, Butler, Phillips, and Wright families.
